(More customer reviews)First I'll say that I used to have a PS2 system and I had NBA Live 2001. I hated the game. Players didn't look real at all. Proportions were all messed up...Shaq looked about the same physically as Kobe. Faces were totally terrible. All that has been corrected in NBA Live 2002. I'm shocked at how close many of the players resemble their real life counterparts. They even have a number of players wearing their signature sneakers. Graphically, the game is just a huge improvement. Gameplay is also much improved. Game just has a much better "flow". Players move very fluidly and are easier to control. Computer AI still is not great, but it's better than in prvious NBA Live games. I still think players miss too many shots when you go to the higher levels. However, if you do work for open shots, your percentages will increase. Announcers are pretty average. Season and franchise modes are great and create a player mode is fantastic. Overall, I really enjoy the game. I hated NBA Live 2001. Thought it was rushed to the market. EA definately improved things here so if you were like me and were disappointed with Live 2001, give this one a chance.
